TEMPERATURE CONTROL

This TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER has built in high level shutdown and automatic tank refill for the same price as the other guy's "tankburner" specials. Let's face it, if you rely on the thermal fuse in the heater as your protection against tank fires, you are playing roulette. If the fuses are even in the heaters! Many times the maintenance department, under production pressure, removes them to "save the day".

* The way this works is by sensing the level with three conductivity probe at different depths. If the liquid level drops below the bottom probe the heater shuts down. If the bottom one is immersed in liquid, the middle probe starts the refilling. When the liquid reaches the top probe, it shuts off the refilling. In normal operation the level fluctuates between the middle and top probes.

* Easy installation: level probe and thermocouple are pre-wired so all you have to do is mount, and supply 240V power.

* The thermocouple is in a rigid pipe that is fixed the tank wall. No loose wire flying about that can come out of the tank and start an overheating event.

* NEMA 4X enclosure for washdown duty.

* 25A relay controls up to 12kW @ 240V

* State-of-the-art Watlow 93 temperature controller features PID tuning or on/off temperature control with 1 degree F.
